"Went here for a day of skeet shooting for my buddies bachelor party and it was a BLAST!!! Denise was a ton of fun and a great instructor. She did an amazing job of preaching the importance of safety while still letting us enjoy ourselves. I would recommend coming here for their clay shooting to anybody.

What's Happening Around Maine
Wondering how to spend a few days in the area? Depending on your likes there's of possibilities.
Let's say you arrive in the afternoon. After settling into your cabin enjoy a dinner of baby back ribs on the screened in porch at the main lodge. After dinner and dessert, homemade cheesecake with fresh berries sounds good, then how about a relaxing evening around a campfire at your cabin. The next day starts with a light breakfast in the main lodge typically waffles with whipped cream and berries, eggs, yogurt. It's a beautiful day so how about packing a picnic lunch and heading out to canoe around one of the local lakes, such as Great Moose Lake. There's an eagles nest to check out as well as loons and other wildlife.
Check our Activities Page for more.

The evening ends with dinner out, maybe one of my favorites, Cacciatores in Fairfield, hmmmm carmelized salmon sounds so good.
The next day it's a scenic drive, just under an hour, to enjoy the beautiful Kennebec Chaudiere also known as the Old Canada Road. Enjoy lunch along the way. A relaxing dinner on the porch to discuss the days adventures and you are ready to turn in.
It's time to take it easy after yesterday's outing so how about a massage from one of the best, Jonathan at Apollo Day Spa, his and her massages will leave you totally relaxed. Follow this with a short drive, again just an hour, to Freeport to visit LL Bean and some of the other great outlet shops. Maybe checking out the antique shops in Fairfield sounds intriguing. Dinner in Freeport or stop in Winslow on the way back for seafood at the Lobster Trap. There is so much to do and enjoy in this area and so much more is just an hour or so away in any direction.

If you have a student attending Colby College in Waterville and are looking for more traditional Maine lodging for your visit then give us a call to reserve a cabin.
