Q. How far out should I reserve my hunt?
A. This depends on the time of year. Since we are open 7 days a week
we have more options.
Prime fall dates book early, so as soon as you have a
date in mind let me know.
Q. Can I bring my own dog for a bird hunt?
A. Yes you can or we have guides and dogs available.
Q. How many hunters are allowed at a time? A. We don't allow more than 3 guns in the field at a time
for safety reasons. At this time we have
two main hunting areas so there can be 6 hunters
out at a time. Your group will only hunt with
your group.
Q. How many birds should we get? A. I usually recommend a minimum of three birds per hunter.
We work with bird packages and
birds can always be added to your package when you get
here.
Q. I have never done any hunting before. Can you help me get
started?
A. This is one of my favorite things to do. We have all of the
equipment you need and since you
don't need a hunting license on our preserve all you
have to do is call and make an
appointment.
Q. I'd like to book a group outing- how many can you
accommodate? A. For a day long outing we can handle groups of 30+
depending on the time of year and event. For overnight outings,
the cabins can sleep 10-12 and there is plenty of room for
pitching a tent.
Q. You have 2 hour hunts for two and 4 hour
hunts listed, there are only two of us
but we would like to hunt for 4 hours? A. Our hunts are pricedaccording
to bird packages. The two and four hour hunttimes
are really just a rough idea of how long the
hunts will last. You can easily do a 2 hour hunt
for 3 people. Q. Do you have any specials?
A. We offer a 10 % discount on bird packages Monday thru Thursday.
Our bird hunting
membershipsoffer discounts on birds,
shooting, cabins rental, Dick Sporting Goods, the opportunity to take
partridge and woodcock and our ever popular game dinner.
Our UPLAND HUNTING PACKAGE $325 is lodging, meals and 8
pheasants for 2 people
and available anytime.
